Would you say you are -- a typical example of your sex?
I am -- above average.(小声)

You know, I didn't get a chance to say this -- earlier, but thank you for -- dragging me out of the water.
Thank you, for what you did on the beach.

And do they, love each other till death?
Not very often, no!
Then why do they do it?
-- I have no idea.

I have no father. My mother sculpted me from clay, and I was brought to life by Zeus.
Well, that's neat -- Where I come from, babies are made differently.

They came to the conclusion that man are essential for procreation, but when it comes to pleasure -- Unnecessary.

Welcome to jolly old London!
It's hideous.
Yeah, it's not for everybody.

What is a secretary?
Well, I do everything. I go where he tells me to go, and I do what he tells me to do.
Well, where I am from, that's called slavery!

How can a woman possibly fight in this?
Fight? We use our principles. I mean that's how we are gonna get to vote. Although I am not opposed to engaging in a bitter fist stickups -- should the occasion arise!

Ms. Candy, the whole point was to make her look less -- distracting -- May I? (めがね)
Yeah, really? Specs? Certainly she's not the most beautiful woman you've ever seen?
-- Better!

Not everyone gets to be where they want to be all the time. Me? I'm an actor. I love acting. I didn't want to be a soldier -- But I'm the wrong color. Everyone's fighting their own battle, Diana. Just as you're fighting yours!
15 ::2019/10/10(木) 21:03:53 ID:???.net
They start these wars on their own. All I do is orchestrate an armistice I know they cannot keep -- in the hope they will destroy themselves.

You know, a scorpion must sting. A wolf must hunt.
Hey, May! How you doing? What are you wearing? Something skimpy, I hope -- Peter, that's inappropriate! All right, let's start over. You can edit it. 3, 2, 1 -- Hey, May!
Under the radar! That's how we survive. If you bring Damage Control or the Avengers down here, we're through. You're out there wearing that goofy thing, lightin' up cars, calling yourself the Shocker! 「I'm the Shocker! I shock people!」 What is this, pro wrestling?
Do you know I was the only one who believed in you? Everyone else said I was crazy to recruit a 14 year old kid.
I'm 15 --
No, this is where you zip it! All right? The adult is talking! What if somebody had died tonight? Different story, right? Because that's on you. And if you died, I feel like that's on me. I don't need that on my conscience.
Simple. The Umbrella Corporation derived its primary income from the sale of viral weaponry, something that's impossible to test in the real world. They re-created the center of New York, simulated an outbreak, showed it to the Russians and sold them the virus. They simulated an outbreak in Moscow, sold it to the Americans. An outbreak in Tokyo --
Sold it to the Chinese.
An outbreak in China --
Sold it to the Japanese.
Exactly. Everyone had to have it. The Umbrella Corporation built a new arms race. Only, this time, it was biological rather than nuclear. Highly profitable. And this is where it all happened. This is Umbrella's greatest creation! -- The belly of the beast.
This facility is located in the straits of Kamchatka, northern Russia. The old Soviet Union built submarine pens here in the 80s. After the Cold War ended, the Umbrella Corporation expanded them and built the testing floor. -- No one has ever escaped from this facility.
Bro, that's the thing. I don't give him shit, all right? He just follows me around smiling with his little 1910 gun, bro.
You don't get it, do you?
What, Spence?
These guys guard us. Any one of us gets killed -- Dostum might execute the man he thinks is responsible and his whole family. And this poor boy got you!
You will not win here because you are not honest with yourself. You expect victory without blood.
I expect you to share strategic information with us! Otherwise what the fuck are we doing here?
Your anger comes from your fear -- because you live in a place where life looks better than afterlife. That's not this place. Here, Taliban kills everything you live for. Your mission will fail because you fear death. Mullah Razzan's men, the Taliban, they welcome it. Because they believe there is riches waiting for them in Heaven.
This is Afghanistan. Graveyard of many empires! Today you are our friend, tomorrow you are our enemy. It won't be any different for you. Soon America will become just another tribe here. You will be cowards if you leave. And you will be our enemies if you stay.
Stress management. You watch the fishes -- You water the plants -- Special breathing exercises. Monitor your blood pressure. Listen to pleasant sounds. -- Relax! Personally, I think it may all be a pile of shit -- But when you're facing a bypass, you stop asking questions. Look, just out of curiosity, and since I figure cops are cops the world over, how do you Soviets deal with all the tension and stress?
Chinese find way. Right after revolution, they round up all drug dealers, all drug addicts, take them to public square, and shoot them in back of head.
Never work here. Fucking politicians wouldn't go for it.
You want to know what my crime is? My crime was being born. I'm 38 years old and I've been locked up 26 of those. I educated myself in here. I've come to understand this country was built on exploiting the black man. Of course, I don't hear anything about brothers in your country. But your country exploits its own people just the same. So I guess that makes me the only Marxist around here, right, comrade? You see, this ain't just no drug deal. This is politics, baby. This is economics. This is spiritual. I plan to sell drugs to every white man in the world -- and his sister!
The people have many needs. One is law and order. Other, entertainment. We both have our codes, Vanya. Yours, one of the state. Mine, one of thieves. We both respect courage. We even hold our own lives in contempt.
Where the hell are all the cops? Damn, they're never around when you need one, you know! You make a U-turn, they're all over your ass? Where the fuck are they!
The T-virus brought me back. But it's so strong -- It fights for full control. And I thought that if I ingested fresh human DNA, I could redress the balance.
No wonder your crew abandoned ship.(納得)
No matter. Now I have a new subordinate. And a new plan. You were the only one who successfully bonded with the T-virus. Your DNA is stronger than the others. I ingest you -- I gain control.
That's pretty smart thinking. There is only one problem with that plan?
No. We give them carefully metered doses of complex human proteins and hormones so that the organs that grow inside of them are suitable for xenotransplantation.
And now you can take organs from this creature that was once extinct to improve our lives. You've given them more time -- Why not give it to ourselves as a way to extend our lifespan?
-- Certainly a bold vision, Mr. Hagen.
And one I'm ready to put a significant amount of resources towards realizing.
When the first organ goes into a human being, people from all walks of life, affected by your research. I want in before it happens. Set the course for what happens next!
You've brought dinosaurs back from the dead with immune systems just like ours, right? Let's a crack a few open, see what makes them tick. Let's make some progress --
Osgood, you know the trials and tests these dinosaurs are exposed to here. How do you justify your hand in it then -- 「Mom」?
I don't believe that I need to justify anything about my actions to you.
Good for you, Oz! Take a stand. Just let me know what it is and when you find it.
This work can save real lives. I watched someone very important to me die on an organ donor waiting list. I won't let anyone else suffer the same cruelty as long as I can help it -- There are limits, Mr. Hagen.
Progress is relative. I'll gladly wait one more day knowing that I did everything humanely the first time. But it won't be for some failed pipe dream attempted by better, richer men before you!
The world owes the Avengers an unpayable debt. You have fought for us, protected us, risked your lives. But while a great many people see you as heroes, there are some who would prefer the word "vigilantes."
I'm saying there may be a causality. Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict breeds catastrophe. Oversight -- Oversight is not an idea that can be dismissed out of hand.
Oh, that's Charles Spencer, by the way. He's a great kid. Computer engineering degree, 3.6 GPA. Had a floor-level gig, at Intel planned for the fall. But first, he wanted to put a few miles on his soul before he parked it behind a desk. See the world, maybe be of service. Charlie didn't want to go to Vegas or Fort Lauderdale, which is what I would do. He didn't go to Paris or Amsterdam, which sounds fun. He decided to spend his summer building sustainable housing for the poor. Guess where? -- Sokovia. He wanted to make a difference, I suppose. I mean, we won't know because we dropped a building on him while we were kickin' ass!
If we sign this, we surrender our right to choose. What if this panel sends us somewhere we don't think we should go? What if there is somewhere we need to go and they don't let us? We may not be perfect, but the safest hands are still our own.
If we don't do this now, it's gonna be done to us later. That's the fact. That won't be pretty.
And for the record, your father raised three kids on a college professor's salary. One of them is a two-time Olympian, a sixth round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles and a leading philanthropist. The other is a cardiothorasic surgeon at Mass General and the third -- managed to build a multi-million dollar business using not much more than her wits.
There's a guy who sits outside my Starbucks with a uh with a cardboard sign that says, "Vietnam Vet" and every morning I give him a quarter and right now the only difference between you and him is that you have a story.
Luck lives in the city. Don't live out here. It lives where you get hit by a bus or not -- Where your bank is robbed or not. At someone's damn cell phone when he come up to a crosswalk. That's luck, that's winning or losing. Out here you survive or you surrender. That's determined by your strength and bare spirit. Wolves don't kill the unlucky deer. They kill the weak ones. You fought for your life, Jane.
You can't steer from the pain. If you do you'll rob yourself. You'll rob yourself of every memory of her. Every last one. From the first step to her last smile. You kill 'em all. Just take the pain, Martin. -- Do you hear me? You take it. It's the only way to keep her with you.
She was unlike anybody I ever knew. She was smart. She saw through people in situations, and she knew how to live with passion and style, She understood Duke Ellington.
He asked me if I wanted to come in and upgrade my wardrobe. He said he had a lot of nice things that got left behind by people and forgotten over the years.
Like me, she learned to survive and rein vent herself. She knew she had to reinvent her life and her identity. And like me, she envisioned a better, elegant future for herself. Like me, she knew you had to have a vision. She came to New York, she envisioned it, and just like that -- she applied for a job at Cosmopolitan magazine.
People believe what they want to believe -- 'Cause the guy who made this was so good that it's real to everybody. Now, who's the master? The painter or the forger?
The authors of Hooters play on our incessant need for fat and man's incessant need to be in the proximity of augmented breasts. It's like Henry V ran a fastfood franchise!
Females are smarter than the males. But you know that, it's like humans. Females use their nose to stay alive. They make sure they have cover. They always remember they're trying to stay alive. Bucks go off by themselves. Bucks get dumb during mating season.
You forced my daughter on her knees -- and she made you pay for it. Isn't that right, Leather Jacket? You were there. Dickless made you swear not to tell anyone.
If you win, I win. If they take you down, I win. And I hope you like butter on your popcorn. It's sure to be a grand show. -- You're still here? Milton, the clock's ticking.
Oh, is he! Is that what he's gonna do? I'll tell you what, buddy, if it is your daddy, and I truly hope that it is -- he's gotta be just aboutthe dumbest motherfucker I've ever met?(嘲笑) I mean, a Ranger sniper tripping wire sensors? He's gotta be -- -- creating a diversion. It's a fucking diversion!(奇襲)
He supervised 23 close precision engagements across 5 continents and he has 13 confirmed kills. And he is one of only 14 captains in the armed forces, to ever receive a Distinguished Service Medal and the Silver Star. So, he might be a lousy husband, but he is a good soldier.
You, yesterday, you were on a prison bus barking to yourself, now you got a gun in your hand. Who's a survivor now? We put bullets in our head and walk to the fucking hospital! We're soldiers! Nettles, what's our 20?
Well, you were right. A warrior's spirit needs a warrior's body. It draws in air, generating an arc plasma -- but how you control it, I don't know. Didn't exactly come with a manual, did you? It's some kind of weapon. Now you know who you are. But that's just a shell. It's not bad or good. That part's up to you.
Listen -- It's stuff from the Factory going up to Zalem. But the tubes are just for cargo, not for people. If I was as strong as you, I'd climb that tube to Zalem right now! They don't let anybody up there.
Doc found you in the Scrapyard. All that stuff is dumped from Zalem. So you must be from up there. I guess so. If you could just tell me what those eyes have seen!
Thank you for coming on such short notice. You are the scum of the game! But tonight, you are handpicked scum -- Because tonight is not a game. It is a hunt. I'm paying 500,000 -- to the one who kills the girl called Alita.
It took her only a few months! To rise through the ranks of the 2nd League! And tonight! She makes her first appearance in the Champions League! Where she has a chance at becoming Final Champion! And going to Zalem!
Alita! Alita! Alita! (歓声)
Let's hear it for the Battle Angel herself! No. 99 -- Alita!!
Look, Randy, I'm asking you to help me out, man? If the answer's no, the answer's no! Not no with excuses.
-- Hey, man. This ain't a fucking Andy McLaglen picture, you know? I can't afford to hire a bunch of guys to smoke cigarettes and sit around talking to each other all day on the chance that I might use them. I got a 4 man team here, Rick. If I need more than that, I gotta get it approved.
Now, I admire Cassius Clay, I do. What I admire is in his sport, there's an element of true combat. When Cassius Clay meets Sonny Liston in the ring, that's not two athletes posturing. That's combat. Two men trying to kill each other right now. If you don't beat him -- he kills you. That's beyond athletics. That's beyond Wide World of Sports, you know? That's two warriors engaged in combat. That's what I admire. In martial arts tournaments, they won't let you fight like that. It's very frustrating. You stand in front of a guy, you just wanna let him have it. Ha! But you can't. So you gotta do this play acting, patty cake version. Cassius Clay, Sonny Liston, Joe Lewis. The colored boxer, not that white kickboxing asshole. They do what they need to do to win. They unleash as much punishment as they have to to defeat the other guy. But in martial arts tournaments, I do to win what they do to win. I unleash all my power. I kill people.
Look, man, I don't want any trouble. I'm just here to do a job.
But you're laughing at what I'm saying. But I'm not saying anything funny. So, what do you think is so funny?
What I think is -- you're a little man with a big mouth and a big chip! And I think you should be embarrassed to suggest that you'd be anything more than a stain on the seat of Cassius Clay's trunks.
Brother, you're the one with the big mouth. And I would really enjoy closing it especially in front of all my friends. But my hands are registered as lethal weapons. That means, we get into a fight, I accidentally kill you, I go to jail.
Anybody accidentally kills anybody in a fight, they go to jail. It's called manslaughter. I think all that lethal weapon horseshit is just an excuse so you dancers never have to get in a real fight.
Sam. Sam, uh -- if you got me covered up in all this, uh -- this junk, uh -- how's the audience gonna know it's me?
I hope they don't. I don't want them to see Jake Cahill. I want them to see Caleb! I hired you to be an actor, Rick, not a TV cowboy. You're better than that.
Eating lunch before I do a scene makes me sluggish. I believe it's the job of an actor, and I say actor not actress because the word actress is nonsensical. It's the actor's job to avoid impediments to their performance. It's the actor's job to strive for 100% effectiveness. Naturally, we never succeed, but it's the pursuit that's meaningful.
-- Who are you?
You can call me Marabella.
Mar -- Marabella what?
Marabella Lancer.
No, no, come on, come on. What's your real name?
When we're on set, I prefer to only be referred to by my character's name. It helps me invest in the reality of the story. I've tried it both ways and I'm always just a tiny bit better when I don't break character. If I can be a tiny bit better, I want to be.
He's, uh -- He's not the best anymore. In fact, far from it. He's comin' to terms of what it's like to be slightly more -- use -- Slightly more useless each day. (泣く)
He loved the food so much that during his stay, Rick gained almost 15 pounds. But he didn't love the Italians' way of making movies. In fact, he thought the post synched, every actor speaks their own language Tower of Babel shooting style of European movies was ridiculous. While in Rome, Marvin plugged Rick into 3 other Italian productions. His 2nd Western was 『Kill Me Quick, Ringo, Said the Gringo』, also starring Joseph Cotten and directed by Calvin Jackson Padget, pseudonym for Giorgio Ferroni. His 3rd was an Italian-Spanish coproduction that paired him with Telly Savalas, titled 『Red Blood, Red Skin』 directed by Joaquin Romero Marchant and based on the Floyd Ray Wilson novel, 『The Only Good Indian is a Dead Indian』. And his 4th, a Spaghetti secret agent, James Bond rip off type flick called 『Operazione Dyn-O-Mite!』, directed by Antonio Margheriti. Ultimately making Rick's 6 month Italian sojourn fairly profitable, although his swank Roman apartment ate up a big chunk of his earnings. So as Rick return to Hollywood via Pan Am, he has 4 new movies under his belt, some money in his pocket, and his brand spanking new Italian wife, starlett Francesca Capucci. Hurtling through the air towards a new life and uncertain future, Rick was really not sure about what lay ahead for him.
So these last 4 Italian flicks, after 9 years together, would be Rick and Cliff's final rodeo. Cliff doesn't have a clue what he's gonna do. The only thing the 2 men know of for sure -- Tonight, Rick and Cliff will have a good old fashioned drunk. Both men know, once the plane touches down in El Segundo, it'll be the end of an era for both of them. And when you come to the end of the line with a buddy who is more than a brother and a little less than a wife, getting blind drunk together is really the only way to say farewell.
So, everybody's heard about the super rats that are in Gotham now, right? Well today, the mayor said he has a solution. You ready for this? Super cats!
It's a medical condition causing sudden, frequent and uncontrollable laughter that doesn’t match how you feel. It can happen in people with a brain injury or certain neurological conditions.
Have you seen what it's like out there, Murray? Do you ever actually leave the studio? Everybody just yells and screams at each other. Nobody's civil anymore! Nobody thinks! what it's like to be the other guy. You think men like Thomas Wayne ever think what it's like to be someone like me? To be somebody but themselves? They don't. They think! that we'll just sit there and take it, like good little boys! That we won't werewolf and go wild!
Oh, why is everybody so upset about 3 guys? If it was me dying on the sidewalk, you'd walk right over me! I pass you every day, and you don't notice me! But 3 guys, what, because Thomas Wayne went and cried about them on TV?
Playing my video. Inviting me on this show. You just wanted to make fun of me. You're just like the rest of them.
You don't know the first thing about me, pal? Look what happened, because of what you did. What it led to. There are riots out there. 2 policemen are in critical condition, and you're laughing. You're laughing. Someone was killed today, because of what you did.
Thank you, Thomas. I know this is a difficult time for you.
Yes, all 3 worked for Wayne Investments. Good, decent, educated. Although I didn't know any of them personally. Like all Wayne employees, past and present, they're family.
There now seems to be a groundswell of anti rich sentiment in the city. It's almost as if our less fortunate residents are taking the side of the killer.
Yes, and it's a shame. It's one of the reasons why I'm considering a run for mayor. Gotham's lost its way.
What about the eyewitness report of the suspect being a man in a clown mask?
Well, it makes total sense to me. What kind of coward would do something that cold blooded? Someone who hides behind a mask. Someone who is envious of those more fortunate than themselves, yet they're too scared to show their own face. And until those kind of people change for the better, those of us who have made something of our lives will always look at those who haven't as nothing but clowns.
Thomas Wayne, thank you for coming in this morning.
It won't matter. The head guys make bail, sure. But the midlevel guys, they can't. They can't afford to be off the streets. They'll cut deals that include some jail time. Think of all you could do with 18 months of clean streets?
