9 Nintendo Switch Exclusives That Could Be Announced At E3
We'll get a Metroid Prime sequel eventually, right, Nintendo?

9. Luigi's Mansion 3
With a new console comes new opportunities for Nintendo to right past wrongs.
The Big N would be hard-pushed to dig itself into a deeper hole than it did with the Wii U,
but that doesn't mean the fresh start that the Switch represents should be squandered on mediocre third-party support and further neglect of storied franchises.

More than any other big-name platform holder,
Nintendo has a wealth of existing properties to draw from for the Switch - it just needs to actually put the effort into dusting them off for another chance at success.
Not that there's any such thing as failure as far as these are concerned, mind. F-Zero, Paper Mario and, perhaps most prominently of all,
Metroid, have all gone years without a full-fledged sequel, and now's the time to strike.

Nobody can blame Ninty for not wanting to sink huge sums of cash into funding games for a console that was essentially dead before it even rolled off the production line, but now?
There's no excuse. The Switch has already proven itself to be a worthwhile buy by way of several excellent launch titles, but the momentum needs to keep going, not stall prematurely.
Here are nine exclusives that would ensure that never happens, should they make an appearance at next month's E3.

Given Mario's image as the Big N's mascot and, indeed, gaming's most recognisable icon bar none, it makes sense that the stouter sibling of the two gets the most time in the limelight,
but that doesn't mean Luigi always needs to be relegated to supporting cast status, does it?
In fact, I'd argue that the frustratingly underappreciated Luigi's Mansion series nips at the heels of Mario's own starring roles as far as quality is concerned,
so why not give Switch owners another round of ghostbusting action to enjoy?

I mean, if the 3DS has taught us anything, it's that the formula feels right at home on a handheld device -
Dark Moon is one of best things you can dunk into its cart slot - so cooking up a numbered sequel for a console that blurs the line between home and handheld is a no-brainer.
Screw the Mushroom Kingdom, I want haunted houses to explore and industrial strength vacuum cleaners to wield!
